Although this was treed, the quality (also of the performance) is not
extremely good in my opinion. Not that it’s bad but from especially of treed
show one expects something more special.

Torrent notes: sound quality is good on this one. Recording volume was a bit too high during
the electric tunes, but at least this still exists! This is the complete show....prior
setlists from the Sugar Mountain website lack the last track in their listings.
This is the second release from
the Howard Silver collection. Originally
from New York, Howard spent his college years and thereafter in Chicago. He attended many concerts in the 70’s and
taped many of them using a Sony TC-110 with built in microphone. Later shows, he used an external microphone,
of which brand he does not recall.
These shows have never been heard by anyone but Howard and his
wife! However, he is no hoarder. He did not think anyone would be interested
in his tapes. How wrong he was!!!

Probably taped by an inexperienced taper. Especially the solo set isn’t
great soundwise. Hilarious is the moment in Out on the Weekend that (probably)
the taper is caught smoking (pot?) and summoned to put it out.

This show has been bootlegged on two
LPs, the first half (songs 1 to 9) is from the bootleg LP called "Coming
Home", the second half (songs 10
to 17) is from the bootleg LP called
"A Bit More". This set is recorded from those two bootlegs. The
second bootleg was pressed on very bad
vinyl, and that's noticable in this
recording (especially during Alabama and New Mama).

Disc 1
Disc 2
NOTE: I have two versions of this.
Remarks on one: HOG has a skip to another music clip of about 10 seconds, possibly
of Bruce Springsteen. Little skip audible between songs. HWAITY is of lesser
quality than the rest and should be the second song but is the opening song.
Furthermore, this not so common recording from the TFA tour is of surprising
good quality, given the fact that it’s rather rare. The other one has a few
clicks but has the songs in the right order. Apart from HWAITY which is
slightly better, this copy sounds somewhat less compared to the other one.

NOTES:
torrent notes: This IS the "We Gonna Get You" master tape! As Joe Ray remembers, "After Neil's
comment to get me ('the guy with the microphone'), I held the microphone where
it could not be seen. 'The Loner'
(completed) when I turned the deck
off. I was sitting in the 5th row center
and the Roadies were looking for me from the side of the stage. The pressure was on me,...if I would have
been caught I would have been arrested, etc.,...so, I just stopped taping. I put the expensive AKG D-1000-E microphone
in my boot. I lost the $40.00 Sony
Portable Cassette Deck and the Microphone Cord by saved the microphone and the
tape. I became much more stealthy when
recording shows after this incident!"

opinions vary from ear to ear. Additionally, there is nothing terribly

harmony. May be only for the completists."
